Painted shortly after the passing of Sinead O’ Connor in 2023, I found myself mourning her loss - her music, her influence, her authenticity.

Re-acquainting myself with the songs that defined the 80s and 90s and my own journey in that time, I found myself painting in rhythm - repetitive and bold. A gentleness too to counter that boldness.
