Very excited to be taking part in Wandsworth Artists Open Studios over two weekends in October.

To see more info about mine and other artists open studios click HERE. I’ll be a at venue 15 on the Battersea/Wandsworth/Tooting/Furzedown Trail and there is free parking and entry.

October 7th/8th and 14th/15th

11am - 6pm

I’ve got lots of paintings of all sizes to show you and some new LIMITED EDITION PRINTS as well as a Lucky Dip to win a painting and other goodies.

The Art Buyer Summer Show

Featured here is Tenby 2, which although is a more figurative move away from my usual abstract landscapes, the central figure is a recurring motif in a few of my paintings.

This painting evokes childhood summers on holiday and I wanted to give a timeless quality to the overall feeling of the image. The little girl is me but she could be anyone immersed in the act of exploration on a beach.

I was so pleased to be recently selected to join ArtCan as an artist member.

ArtCan are a non - profit making charity who believe that Artists need time to establish their practice. They seek to complement and support established gallery structures by enabling an artist’s talent to be experienced and purchased.

This is the first exhibition of the year and I’m delighted to be part of it, showing my monoprint, ‘Before The Storm’.

Hicks Xmas Show

I am thrilled to be showing a collection of my work at Hicks Gallery for their Xmas show. Paintings are very much inspired by the landscape such as this one here, ‘Picnic At Logan Rock’, from a summer evening there in Cornwall.

The landscapes are semi abstract and evoke strong memories and feelings of times spent there.

Hicks Gallery June 2021

I am really thrilled to be showing 8 of my paintings at Hicks Gallery, SW London in May.

Its a gallery I’ve had my eye on when I drive past as its quite local to me. I’ve always admired the paintings shown there and the gallery itself is lovely.

Alice and her parents who run the gallery are really charming and welcoming and you couldn’t wish for a better gallery to see beautiful art.

Helen has a real eye for art and we share common artists who we love so it was even more of a pleasure that she chose my work to be featured in this online show.

'Inside Out' Solo Exhibition

PLEASED TO BE SHOWING MY FIRST SOLO SHOW AT SPROUT ARTS GALLERY FROM 28TH JULY - 8TH AUGUST 2020.

THE THEME OF THE SHOW IS 'INSIDE, OUT'. I FELT THIS ENCOMPASSED SO MANY THINGS THAT I WAS DEALING WITH. FOR AN ARTIST, LOCKDOWN GAVE US LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXPLORATION AND FOR CREATING WHICH I EMBRACED BUT MY LANDSCAPE INSPIRATION WAS LIMITED AND RESTRICTED TO MY IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT. 

SO THERE ARE CONTEMPORARY LANDSCAPES TO BE SEEN BUT ALSO ELEMENTS OF AN INTERIOR LANDSCAPE OF MY HOME, FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND FEELINGS.

I WILL BE SHOWING PAINTINGS ON CANVAS, PANEL AND PAPER AS WELL AS A COLLECTION OF PAPER VESSELS WHICH ARE MADE FROM PAINTINGS ON 300GSM ETCHING PAPER AND RECYCLED OBJECTS.

I DO HOPE YOU CAN COME AND VISIT. THERE IS A LOVELY CAFE NEXT DOOR AND FREE PARKING SO ALL VERY RELAXED.

THERE WILL ALSO BE STRICT COVID SAFETY MEASURES IMPLEMENTED IN THE GALLERY WITH A ONE WAY SYSTEM, 2 PEOPLE AT A TIME LIMITATION, MASKS AVAILABLE AND VISORS AND MULTIPLE HAND GEL POINTS.

IF YOU ARE SHIELDING AND FEEL WORRIED ABOUT COMING IN, THEN DO FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AND I CAN ALWAYS POP UP OUT OF HOURS TO SHOW YOU ROUND OR DO A VIDEO CALL.
